bsplayer cannot play .mkv files

Well, I have 2 PC, both running windowsXp and having exactly the same codec.
BSPlayer can play .mkv files on PC A but not on PC B.
However, media plyer classic on PC B can play .mkv files too
Anybody can answer me that? Thanks
