Default Subtitles xvid

I can't see subtitles on my xvid movies.

When I try to install Koepi's video codec I get this message:

"Error opening file for writing. C:\windows\system32\xvid.ax"

What do I Have to do?

Agnos

Default

do you have Administrator rights on your system ?
if no, I guess there's nothing you can do (except ask your admin or crack the passord or take advantage of some windows security hole ;)).
if yes, maybe there already is an xvid codec installed on your system and its files are in read-only mode => you should first uninstall the existing codec

btw, [re]installing Xvid won't help you see subtitles...
do you know what format your subtitles use ?

Hi there Quietseb!
Thank you for helping me!

I have tried all kind of formats sub. , .srt and it doesn't work on my xvid files. When I play Divx files the subtitles are fine.
