How do I get my movie on tv and monitor

I've got the newest BSplayer (100.803)
What do I have to change in BS Preferences to get a movie - with subtitles - on television and PCmonitor?

(of course I've set my videocard properly and connected it with my television)

Try to change overlay mode.
You can also try to force RGB mode.
