Rear speakers don't work with bs player

I have my tv speakers connected to my rear speaker output on my soundcard. When i play a mp3 song in winamp i can hear the song trough the speakers of my tv. However when i play a divx movie with bs player i can't hear the sound trough the tv speakers. When i play a mp3 in bs player i also can't hear any sound through my tv speakers. What could be the problem here?

I've already watched dozens of movies this way but now i have installed the new bs player i cannot get it working again

Use Matrix mixer. When using this 4 Speaker mode works perfectly for me...But the BSplayer internal AC3 settings work for me as well...
