Audio problem
 
hi.... when i play avi files with bs player(or anyother player,exept divx player) there is no sound. if i change the output device form default to waveout the sound works but its out of sync. i instaled the audio codecs(ac3filter and ogg) but it still doesnt work. my bs player version is 1.00 RC1. 10x bye

Check audio-type/codec used for movie with GSpot and let us know.

the problem apears with every avi movie i play. i got gspot and most of the avi files have this audio codec:0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3. i'm running win xp prof + serv pack 1. my specs are: sound card:game theater XP; video:Radeon 7200; cpu: PIV(1,6Ghz),directx 9. 10x for your help

1. What is your soundcard ?
2. HAve you installed divx 3.11 because it came witha a verry good MP3 decoder. Never have any problem with it.
