Default Fullsreen scaling bars

Hi,
can anybody help me get rid of these fullscreen scaling bars? These two white lines are just ugly and ruin the movie, what were the developers thinking?

Thanks
J

could you be more precise/take a screen capture ? I have absolutely no idea of what you're talking about
'fullscreen scalling bars' ?
it makes me think of custom pan&scan, but that does not leave anything once you click ok :?

edit:
does it ressemble what bluedan reported here ?

Hi,
I'm talking about these two white lines at the edge of the screen that let you scale the size of the movie window even in fullscreen mode.

Well,
good news, just got the problem solved, I just activated the 'snap movie to screen edges in full screen' function, but thanks anyway.

Oh, that's weird, the bars are back, so your help is appreciated, again.

Thanks

from your second description, I remember suffering from this bug occasionnally back with build 800 or 803. It's as if you didn't have 'true full screen' but rather a screen sized window, isn't it ?
not sure whether this has been reported/corrected since these builds, but I have never had it again :? you have the latest (807) build, right ?

for the sake of appearances, you can check 'borderless play window' in preferences->video->general, but a borderless window screen sized still isn't quite the same as 'true full screen'

sorry I give no solution
