ogm files

can't play .ogm files and I have xvid codec :? error msg reads, "Display hardware is not capable of color-space conversions. Switching to RGB" and then another pop up reads cannot display file. Despite this, I can play it in media player classic, but I cannot load the subtitles. This creates an annoying dillema for me. any help would be appreciated thanks :D
