Default Dumb Question....
I'm really a newb when it comes to using computers, but i know i need the Divx codecs to play most of the movies i downloaded. Where can i find just the Divx codec without getting all the spyware and adware? Or is the Divx.com site the only one? (does the codec download there have any adware in it? i have no clue)

try ffdshow (address correction) for divx and xvid videos. I don't think it contains any spyware (at least not the distribution i am using).

Try the free codec from divx.com it's at the bottom of table.
