I've never seen such textmessages as mentioned by you by BSPlayer. Maybe it is generated by another program running in parallel? Did you perhaps install a codec pack? If so, check what programs it contains which could give such messages. (General advice: don't use codec packs!)  | Definitely not burned in movies :)
But the other one sounds like to be very promising tip. I think that ffdshow is the only one I've been recently updated so I've to check it as soon I'll be at home. Thank you!
