subtitles

hi i have a subtitles file .sub but it doesn't show during the associated movie
am i missing something?

How big is the .sub file ? If is something like 2-4MB then is an dvd subtitle and BSPlayer can't handle it. You must convert it to a text based .sub subtitle (try SubRip).
