EQUALIZER doesn't work I must be dumb but do i need a special codec to run the equalizer in the latest build? i go to the options menu in preferences but all the bands are grayed out. when I go to audio->equalizer, the equalizer comes up but it doesn't do anything? please help  |
OK if you are looking for codecs follow this thread: http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?p=15154#15154 If you press Ctrl + P you should get the prefferences window up and you should see Equalizer under the Audio section. Make sure the Equaliser enabled is ticked. Hope this helps.[/url] |
of course the equalizer is enabled, it just does't work. all the bands are greyed out and when i bring up the EQ and start adjusting the bands nothing happens. do you guys even beta test your programs before releasing them? |
Did you clicked on Enable EQ ? What file tipes do we talk about, AC3 sound or MP3 sound ? |
like i said in my previous post: EQ IS ENABLED, its checked. it doesnt matter if its ac3 or mp3 the equalizer bands are greyed out and when i bring the EQ up when im playing a movie file it does nothing. can anybody help? geez :x |
Equalizer bands indeed greyed out, so you can't change these. Nevertheless Equalizer is working overhere. Perhaps check if setting under rightclick > Options > Preferences > Audio is "System default"? (I would always try that first). Play an .avi and then, with Equalizer panel active, move its most left slider (=preAmp) all the way up. Still no difference? |
thanks bspeter, works now. :D |
