Exporting Video via analog/DV Firewire Device?

Hello, I have home videos and DivX videos that I would like to export to VCR or Recordable DVD drive. I have two devices, the Canopus TwinPact 100 and the Formac TVR analog/digital coverter. Either of these devices are hooked up via firewire. Does anyone know how I can play and transfer my videos over the vcr/tv/dvd-r?

Any advice is welcome.
