Default Playing smr files

Hi.

Id really appreciate a little advice and probably patience too....

Trying to playback several smr files on windows xp. Got the codek and installed but im getting nothing not even sound just a few seconds of green at the beginning then blackness. The time, framerate and resolution display ok but jsut no playback.

Ive done quite a lot of farting around but am now stuck. Any advice?

Ta.

dunno what smr files are, but have you tried to switch overlay modes (or even disable overlay and possibly check force RGB mode) ?

get a fourcc changer and change the fourcc to div3... (make backups first just in case something bad happens...)
