.mvb format

Hello, i have just started using bs player and I am very happy with the results so far. But, I have encountered a problem with trying to play .mvb format vidieo files.
After doing a google search, I downloaded mviewer2 as recommended but it doesnt seem to recognize the mvb files. Is there a codec or way to get bs player to run these vidieo files>
