Default The colour controls have no effect

HELP... I cannot get the colour controls to affect the picture brightness or contrast, I have tried on the latest version and an older version downloaded from Cnet...I did have an earlier version that got deleted when I had a hard drive crash 2 years ago...Compaq 5100 computer 900MZ amd duron running windows XP sp2 and 512 Mb Ram

What videocard do you have ?
Do you use overlay mode to display ?
DirectX ?
Last drivers ?

Default The colour controls have no effect

The grpahics card is the onboard S3 Pro Savage for Compaq. I have tried in Overlay mode and in RGB..no effect..colour comntrols still ineffective.

Try to enable both Overlay 1 and RGB overlay. For onboard graphics sometimes is useful.
