Default VMR-9 renderless mode 1 vs. mode 2

BSPLayer really needs some sort of readme or at least more updated FAQ.

First of all, what's the difference between VMR-9 and VMR-9 renderless?

Secondly, version 1.1 has just divided the former into 2 modes: if I choose VMR-9 renderless, what's the difference between the modes? Which mode should be better?

Thanks!

I believe that there should be added auto-option, witch pick up the best (fastest and with optimal (maximal quality) ) overlay output to use

Already there is a waste of CPU cycles, when you set BSplayer to use mode2 overlay, for example, to be able to watch full quality of mpeg2 videos, while the DivX/Xvid movies are more that happy with mode1 and use notably less CPU cycles (measureble difference on PR3800+ AGP8x machine, so, go figure for yourself... )

And I need every freaking cycle for my folding, so

Maybe you did not have DX9 instaled? Silly idea, I know :?

Definitively, there the overlay thing is simply weird and AUTO option should be added, as well, as DXVA support (fastest overlay!!! )

Bst? :P

I find some more explanation in MediaPlayerClassic. But I don't really understand everything...

They say VMR-7 is the best, and here I read VMR-9 is the best.
