framing issues

Ok, at first i had problems with the size of a frame then i did changed the overlay mode as it was teached somewhere in this forum

rightclick > Options > Preferences > Video > Video rendering

Then a new problem rised: It was in normal size but black
So i tried different setting of "Convert captured images in software" under "General" and nothing.And now i have no ideas what to do!!

Ok i have bsplayer version 1.02. Build 812 14 sept. 2004.

So can you help me with this
