from Playlist, .avi with no audio

strange things happened.

i've an .avi file (call this FILE A) that give me problem when i compiled it with other vid clips. when open as a single file, FILE A is perfect, great audio/video. however, when i compiled it into playlist with other vids, click on the playlist to playback, FILE A appeared with video but no audio. i've got another .avi file in the playlist and it's playing perfectly.

i hope someone can shed some light on such behavior. thanks.
