playback rate returns to default when movie repeats?

Hello, I'm using version 1.22. In a previous version, when I checked "remember movie settings" the playback rate would be remembered when the movie repeated. With this version it always returns to default (1x). Is this intentional? Is there any way to make it remember the playback rate? Any asssistance much appreciated.
