Firefox mediaplayer connectivity

i have been trying to use bsplayer together with the firefox extension "mediaplayer connectivity" which is used to play a websites in browser stream in an external media player.

for some reason when i try to use bsplayer with the extension, the bsplayer toolbar shows up but it says "cant play selected file"

i am trying to view windows media player streams off ifilm.com
