Why can't I add MOV files to the playlist?

Each time I try to drag and drop mov files to the playlist, the playlist does not take the file, what's wrong? 8)

You have to add MOV extension to BSplayer prior to drag files into it, and add don't necessary meant that you have to register the extension..
Open the prefereces window (CTRL+P) then select "File types" section, fill the blank field with "MOV" and press the "Add extension" button.

Now you should be able to drag MOV elements to the playlist
