Help with certain SUBTITLES not showing up

Hi there! I am using version 1.36, and I have VobSub support enabled. Most films that I have on my computer show their subtitles, but recently I have attempted to play several files that have both IDX files and SUB files accompanying them that have not worked at all. The player reads "No Subtitles" after I attempt to load the SUB files. The file I am currently attempting to play is an Xvid .avi file, and the image and sound are both present.

Any help would be very much appreciated! If there's anything I should download or anything I can change, please let me know. Thank you.
