help! bs works perfectly on laptop but not on tv!

i have this strange problem... my bs player works perfectly on my laptop, but if i want to watch a movie with it on my tv screen it only displays a black screen (the sound works though, and the subtitles if any...but no movie, just plain black screen). this shouldn't have anything to do with my grafx card, since all my other players (vlc etc...) work perfectly both on my laptop and my tv. so i guess it comes from the bs.
could anyone help me on this one? i would really apreciate it... :D

Maybe try to change rendering modes/settings in Video options..
