Color Controls none-responsive

The sliders move but there is no color or brightness correction when going to video /color controls.

Tried to reinstall BS PLayer 1.37 but cannot find it in Add Remove programs and there is no uninistaller I see in the BS files.

What can be done to uninstall-reinstall and get the color controls back?
