The only thing (that I can think of) that may slow down BSplayer is the type of compression/encryption used for bsplayer.exe. You can try to add BSplayer.exe to your antivirus exclusions list. But if you already used previous versions of BSplayer you should have noticed the same performances since the exe-packer is the same :? I have an old pc with 256MB of sd-ram and it plays fine..
