Can you tell us which type of codecs the files are encoded with? (movie file extension, codec used to encode it, codec used by BSplayer to play it, etc.) Tell us also the subtitles format you use (embedded or not, srt, txt, ssa, idx, sub).. Maybe read also BSPeter's "READ THIS FIRST BEFORE POSTING" post, items 3 and 4
