Default crashes when playing *.ogg files

i looked through this forum and i couldn't find a clear cut solution.
everytime i play an ogg file it works well in the beginning and then the following error message appears:

BSplayer v1.38.828, Unhandled exception at EIP: 7C9182FD
If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.
Please report this info to the author with description what were you doing.
If you have internet connection, it's recommended to send error report, this will help us solve problems faster.

i'm using direct show ogg vorbis filter (oggds0995.exe)
on this forum there was a link to another codec on a japanese website that was recommended in case of error, however the lnk seems faulty.

if u don't have a solution can anybody please recommend another player for ogg.
