Default yeah, i mean ratio that gives you a size.

Anyway... Yes, i'v tried it but i don't think it has somthing to do with the problem.
The problem is that the Aspect ratio doesn't stays the same when you extend the movie size (extend picture to).
you can check it yourself- Open some movie in bsp, change the aspect ratio to, lets say 16:9. Then, go to: preference > video > [video redering] And extend the picture to 4:3. See how the movie height is decreased?

Maybe im not doing it right, all i want to do is to make the Aspect ratio 4:3 but with black strips like in 16:9, so the black strips will be a part of the actual movie and i will be able to place there (on the black strips) my subtitles.

I hope i'v explaind it clear enough this time :roll:
