Vista hangs when trying to run BSPlayer

Hi,

I'm running BSPlayer 2.14 on Vista Ultimate.
Everytime I try to run BSPlayer, my entire system hangs, and I can only
get it too work again when I reset. Is this a known problem with a known solution? Otherwise might there be any solutions for it?

Some info:
Vista Ultimate, fully up to date.
Nvidia Geforce 6600 GT videocard driver version 101.41
A8N-SLI Premium Mobo bios version 1013
As said before BSPlayer 2.14

Can't think of anything else that can be the problem.
