| I have a VCD compatible MPEG1 file (352x288@25fps) then i burned this file into a VCD disc with Nero, when i play it as raw, as MPEG file from HDD (before burning) total time is shown about 46:16 in Bsplayer Pro, after making it VCD, my player shows total time 1.00.00. So, the time instances do not match between MPEG file and VCD format. What is that reason? The time measurement between VCD and the MPEG doesn't match altought that VCD is made from this MPEG. Note: That VCD is shown 46.16 total time in BSplayer. Thanks.

Standard compatible VCD have a constant bitrate. There it's no need to aproximate, the length of the video it's more than clear. But if you write a 25 fps file in NTSC format (29.97) you won't get more frames, just the player will divide the length of the movie to 29.97 instead of 25 and give a different playing time.

Meanwhile, opening VCD files (DAT + mpeg) requires a huge paging time to operate, the drive lens flashes a lot of times before the track comes out to play though the lens and CD is high quality and clean.
