Default NO DVD Menu Control
I have 2.24 Pro

I've never played DVDs with BS Player before this, it played other media fine.

When I play a DVD or Folder, it does play the video, but I don't have any menu control. None of the buttons highlight or allow selection.

Is this what the non-Pro version does or do I have some other problem ?

Running on Vista Ultimate HP

I've been using FFDshow as the MPEG decoder with other apps

Do you select "play DVD" from BSplayer's menu or opening the files from the DVD structure ?

Can you post here wich filters are used to decode the DVD ?

Solved: although I'm not sure why

I started messing with the rendering options
I had it set to EVR

I switched it to internal and the menus highlighted and were clickable.

I switched to VMR 7 and then 9
Renderless gave no hightlight and no clickables
VMR normal were clickable but not highlighted

I finally just decided to try EVR one more time and now everything seems to work fine.

Damn I'm good. :roll:
