bsplayer forces Win7 to go to "windows 7 basic"

Hello,
Out of the blue, turning on bsplayer began causing Windows to go to "windows 7 basic" scheme. When I close bsplayer it goes back to Aero.
What's going on?

I could not find anything like that codec on the control panel as well.

audio output is "system default", as it was before.
Still no luck.


I have Win XP.

remembering aspect ratio when going to full screen

When I go to full screen the aspect ratio is changed so to fill the screen, and the sides get cut.
How do I make the player keep original aspect ratio at all times?
