May be make for use UI plugins?
Ex. plugin for chnage movie play speed -- plugin show own window, receive mouse and keyboard input, and send standart command for change movie speed to BsPlayer...

BsPlayer have tristate controls (ex. mute button) and linked controls (ex. mute button and volume slider).

Set video window as full screen. Quit from BsPlayer. Run BsPlayer.
Video window is fullscreen, but button "Full screen" not active. (See skin WinDVD 6 as example)
