don't quite understand you

I don't have a problem at all, the problem is that BSPlayer CRASHES.
And it wasn't crashing before (builds <=495).
See point '6' of my first post.

If that problem is known, then OK......

Here's a bug for you:

1. In W2K, set "Use Web view" to enabled (this is the standart folder view with preview of the selected files on the left part of a folder window)

You're BOTH right..

If the MP3 is CBR (e.g. 128kbps all the time). it is possible to compress it a little bith with, say, RAR.
But, If it is VBR, the blanks would have already been compressed by...
