Default jibrish subtitles

i have BS player 2.62 and im tring to watch it with hebrew subtitles, the problem is that the subs looks like jubrish and my whole computer is in hebrew so there shouldnt be any problem reading it..
any suggestions?

cant read the hebrew subtitles

its not fixed.. the note shows me the words in hebrew' and i've changed the settings in the BSPlayer as you guided..

Is it possible that you have selected a font that doesn't support hebrew ?

what do you mean? in the .srt file? the fort is just how it was before i formated my compter (when the subs worked just fine)
if you are refering 2 something in the BSPlayer prefences plz guide me where is it and what should i do..

Right click -> options -> preferences -> subtitles -> click on Font button

Here you select the script (Hebrew) and the font used to render the subtitles.
In my case, I use central european for diacritics (ş, ţ...) but some of the fonts don't actually have this letters (font doesn't support romanian language). In this ideea I've asked. So, after selecting Hebrew encoding, also try to select another font, see the results.
