Brits steal carloads of Fu*king Austrian roadsigns

An Austrian village called Fu*king will not change its name despite sniggering Brits making off with its roadsigns.

Mayor Siegfried Hauppl has asked visitors to lay off the signs which began to attract outside attention after British and US soldiers passing through in 1945 illuminated the locals as to the English meaning of Fu*king, Ananova reports.

Hauppl explained: "We had a vote last year on whether to rename the town, but decided to keep it as it is. After all, Fu*king has existed for 800 years, probably when a Mr Fu*k or the Fu*k family moved into the area. The 'ing' was added as a word for settlement."

We reckon that Fu*king has been around a lot longer than 800 years, otherwise there wouldn't have been any Fu*ks to lend their name to the village in the first place, would there?

Be that as it may, the disappointing news is that the residents of Fu*king are - according to Franz Duernsteiner, an expert on preposterous Austrian village names - very "conservative" people. He said: "Most of them can speak English, and when someone asks them where they come from they are a little ashamed to say it."

That's fair enough, and certainly something the residents of Milton Keynes can sympathise with.

Never been there, are people friendly?

And what do they reply, when someone asks them where do they come from?

Anyway here in Italy there's a place called Scopa (VC) [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scopa_(VC) ], and in Italian the meaning is similar:

eg. (google translate it if you wants)
ITA: "Lui si scopa sua moglie"
ENG: "He f*cks his wife"

Congrats BG's for this info..

"I though that Europe was a country..."?!?!? "Is France a country?"?!?!? well, maybe for us Europeans it's simpler to know/remember other European countries, but Hungary is not a so small and anonymous country... and what if the question was "What's the capital of Liechtenstein?" or "What's the country also known as Albion?"

I'm really ignorant in some fields, but I think I never heard of something similar before about well known European countries... nothing against women, and nothing against the blond ones, but maybe there's a bit or truth in the stereotype of blond stupidity (just kidding ;) )
Maybe the real question they had to ask her is:
"What's a country?"

But the most hilarious part is when the kid made laugh of her

They are just Americans. I've a friend of mine living there and he tells me that many people think Europe is a country

Question:
- Why can't one fifth of Americans find the U.S. on a world map?

- Answer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQdhMSEqhfg
With subtitles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WALIARHHLII
A parody: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F226lI-lo5M

Two days later her "do-over" answer was: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DEBNMhziqc

"Personally, my friends and I, we know exactly where the United States is on a map. I don't know anyone else who doesn't. If the statistics are correct, I believe there should be more emphasis on geography in our education so people will learn how to read maps better."

Comment:
She was right the first time. That do-over sucked! You know she didn't even come up with that and that's the best they could do after more than 48-hours practice!

Caitlin said she was shocked at the question and that's why she froze up. "Everything did come at me at once. And I made a mistake - everybody makes a mistake - I'm human. Right when the question was asked of me, I was in shock!"

What they should've done is asked her to find the U.S. on a world map. The shock alone would've sent her into cardiac arrest.

Let's go back to FUN.
Maybe she should have promoted children to watch more cartoons on TV:

P.S.:
Well, it being a bit outdated, maybe a new updated version should be made first!
