Exclamation Problem with subtitles!!!

I download subtitles separately. The subtitles work, but the most of them for some reason are playing at a slower (or faster) pace than the player - I have to press Ctrl Right (or Ctrl Left) direction arrow every few seconds to keep pace with the movie.
Can anyone help me fix this?
Thanks in advance.

From the info you gave I cannot but conclude that most of the subs you downloaded appear to have an incorrect framerate. So, either look for subs with the correct framerate or (for text-based subs) change framerate using any subs-editor: http://forum.bsplayer.com/38179-post46.html

OK, thank you for fast response.
Is there any way I can slow down the subtitles? I think that can solve my problem if it's possible.

Yes there is: change the fps(frames per second)-rate in a subtitle-editor.
