Don't shout !
This is a known bug in the last three builds.
As a termorary solution: if the box "Use new subtitle parser/renderer"
(under (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Subtitles [Subtitle properties])
is selected, please deselect it.

Using the old renderer works fine.
What script is selected under (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Subtitles > Font ?
If (e.g.) Western .. change it to correct script.
