There are people that do know what they are doing when installing codec packs, but the most do NOT know what they do, only install everything by thinking that
the much = the better, but regarding codec packs this is wrong since they may conflict each other..
You can use codec packs (I used GordianKnot pack until few months ago), but for the mass it is better to not use them
