Problem playing apparent same kind of files

Hi,

after many years ive tried to give BsPlayer another chance, and i find it good, especially the automatic subs downloading (hard to find it working in other players).
It seems tho, Ive got a problem playing many files, that apparently have same specs (video and audio codec used, resolution etc.): files from the same series (for example).
For the records, I play a certain episode (mp4 avc, aac, usual kind): it works no problem.
Try the next episode (same specs): BsPlayer gets stuck on the opening and i have to force close it.

Ive tried changing some rendering option, but going anywhere.
whats wrong?
