Translate English.lng file found in your webteh/bsplayer/lang folder into cambodian.lng and upload it here (BS.Player Translations - Official BS.Player forums) into new thread. We will check the translation and give you BS.Player translator license.

Same goes for Jiu.

Brazilian Portuguese translator available

Hello, just registered here and notice you need work in my language pair. Please send comprehensive info on what you need and all working files.

adicoto 22nd March 2009 09:19 PM

Read the post above yours, it tells you exactly what you have to do. In webteh filder on your computer, you will find, in LANG folder, a file named portuguese_brasilian.lang and an english.lang file. Also, a lang changes file, with the differences that appears in each new build. Complete the portuguese_brasilian file with the changes and translate the lines. After that, follow the instructions in this thread.

PS: open the files in notepad, wordpad or any text editor

Note your language pair "Portuguese_Brazilian" is not on Ico-man's list. Most probably as there is a fairly recent translation file for it made by Lex Leite.
(It would be very easy indeed to "earn" your complimentary Pro-version this way!)

Noticed myself, but portuguese it's also rather new. Maybe Ico-Man knows who is still translating and who not.

portuguese translations

Will check it...

We have both Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese translators active, so atm we don't need new translations.

Professional arabic language

What is a pro arabic language? :smile

Translate English.lng file found in your webteh/bsplayer/lang folder into arabic.lng and upload it here (BS.Player Translations - Official BS.Player forums) into new thread.
Also check existing arabic.lng and lang_changes files to see what is untranslated.

Hi, Ico-man

Hi Ico-man

It seems that there is no Japanese language translation file for BSPlayer now.
I would like to translate the English language file into Japanese one.

I have a question.

Is the ".lng file" of the free version the same as the Pro's? If the same, I will translate into Japanese.:smile

The language files for Free and Pro version are the same!
I think BS.Player team will welcome you wholeheartedly and really appreciate it if you could translate to Japanese as sofar BS.Player has never had a Japanese language file!
Of course Japanese is on Ico-man's list as in the initial post of this thread.
No doubt Ico-man will still respond to you lateron (but it is weekend now so BS.Player team members probably are enjoying their free time at the moment).
 (Long time translator of the Dutch language file)
P.S.:
Don't forget these two lines (separately coded; not in the language file)

I wanted to update the Chinese language and now I finish it, how can I be a translator and upload the language file? PM me!
