HELP!! Need background color for my subtitles

I have the need to get my subtitles to display on a black area. The reason for this is that I have a DivX movie with subtitles in a foreign language that is embedded on the movie.
I want a \"black box\" with MY subtitles to cover these foreign subs.

I use BsPlayer 086.493, but I can\'t find any help in the docs or in the \"about\" section on BsPlayer.
I have tried the forums at divx.com and bsplay.com, but I can\'t figure this out.

Is there a way to deal with this problem??
Please advice.
