Unknown File Format (DIV3)

Hi!

I downloaded bsplayer and I tried to play a DivX movie but I always receive this error. What's wrong?

best guesses are
- no correct codec installed
- corrupted file

use gspot software: it will tell you whether you should be able to play the file or not

I had the same problem as you discribe. You may try the next thing:

Start BsPlayer..
click right mouse button
choose options
choose preferences
click Video
and than enable: Use Divx 4 encoder for MP etc.

After this I was able to play the movie.
