Default "file not found" error!

sorry if this has already been answered but i really searched and did not found a topic containing this error...

my error:

everytime i click on a file to open, a litte windows-screen appears and tells me something like "file not found. be sure to check the path..." but in the background bsplay already plays the file!!!


i mean it's not dramatic but very very annoying...

pls help me!

Have u got the last build ? Did u try to uninstall and re install your actual BSP ?

i just installed the new version and the bug was GONE!!!!

I also suffer that bug, and uninstallation/reinstallation didn't help me. Both 493 and 494 builds gives the annoying window. Until it's resolved, I'm going back to a previous version.

OK, after testing several old versions, all of them still had that problem, so it became clear to me that something was broken in my Windows, and it wasn't BSplayer's fault. And I've just found the solution:

I checked the file types configuration, and in the .AVI I saw the DDE was enabled, and it seemed to be configured for ZPLAYER (Zoom player, I use it for .OGMs because it's more compatible with VobSub). I just disabled DDE and now the bug is gone.

Perhaps BSplayer should disable DDE for itself when registering the extensions?
