are you sure you have the audio codecs for all of these files ? gspot or avicodec will tell you what format your file uses most probably AC3 or OggVorbis gspot: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ avicodec: http://avicodec.duby.info OggDS: http://tobias.everwicked.com/oggds.htm AC3 filter: http://xvalex.hotbox.ru/programs/ac3...ilter_eng.html good luck |

I also have problems with sound. Some files play with sound others don't - exactly what was described. Furthermore it is NOT a codec problem because the files that don't play sound with bsplayer do it with m$player2 on the same system. i didn't have this problem until i reinstalled my system. but now i cannot get rid of it. here's a description what happened to me: i bought a computer game and installed it on my win98 system. there was no sound in the game, so i installed a patch and still had no sound. (talking about nolf2) after a little while i decided to reinstall my computer and killed the complete disk and put win2k on it. after this the game worked fine! but the sound problem in bsplayer appeared. it could have some different explanations: 1) it is a problem with the operating system 2) it is a problem with some audio codec the game nolf2 delivers 3) any combination of codecs/filters that won't work together but i will try graphedit if i have the time to check if it fails to render audio... i'll let you know if i can figure something out. but i don't think it's a bsplayer problem. |
