trouble with sound

Hi,
I have a problem with some films. Sometimes the sound cut after few minutes. Images and subtitles still runing but I can not hear anything.
Have you an idea of this problem.

Do these films have their audio encoded in AC3 ?

if yes, do you have an evaluation version of powerDVD installed ? if so, the AC3 decoding filters that come with these versions cut themselves off after 6 minutes or so.

If not, I think we'll need a bit more info about the movies that have these troubles
