It is critical for non english languages

did you try to select a charset suitable for your needs, as stated in the FAQ ?

Converting SubRip files to MicroDVD format solved that problem for me.

This problem actual for me too. Of course I have selected my native cyrillic charset. All characters except this displayed correct. Older versions of BSPlayer have no problems with it.

..seems nobody is using the search button..
it's a well known issue with the srt format and the latests builds of bsp..
just use the sub format instead of the srt - till the new improved version will come out.. ..which will be soon i hope ...:)

Default Only 493 & 494

The screwed subtitles(Greek here) seem to be a bug of builds 493 & 494.
On the contrary, build 492 works fine!!
