Problem with subtitles on Overlay..

Hi!
First of all i have a ATI Radeon 9700 that both overlay mode 1 and 2 works on..
I really don't know any diffrence between them except mode 2 looks better, with mode to i don't have to mess around to get a centered and nice picture on my tv.. I guess i have some problems with mode 1 because i have a 48" widescreen, but like i said with mode 2 the picture place it self perfect without any tuning..
The problem comes when i want to draw subtitle to overlay.. Then i get the error:

BSPlayer v0.86.493, Unhandled exception at EIP: 00497D3F

Anybody out there knows what's wrong?

cheers
