bsplayer crashing..wierd error

I have a wierd problem. I've tried a few different versions of bsplayer but each seems to do the same thing. I get some error with the file lmpgspl.ax. Any ideas? I'm running w2k.

do you know what this file is supposed to do ?

if you're not sure you need it, try and unregister it:
start menu->run
type

regsvr32.exe -u lmpgspl.ax

(if it's not in the system32 directory, you'll need to specify the path to the file: regsvr32.exe -u path/lmpgspl.ax )

if it appears you need it, you'll have to re-register it:

regsvr32.exe lmpgspl.ax
