xrmb is an unknown quantity at this point
Default no sound mpeg1 with v0.86.493
the latest version seems to have a problem with mpeg1 files, I checked a few tv-episodes, all have no sound... switched back to the 493, and it works...

can someone confirm this?

I have similar problems: some mpg files (from vcds) don't play at all with 496, they give me a 'Unknown file format' msg box..
with 494, everything is fine..
